Terms of Use

1. These terms

idlery.com is operated by Idlery Services LLC (“Idlery”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms apply only to idlery.com. Our products, simulations and other sites, including those at products.idlery.com, simulations.idlery.com, portfolio.idlery.com, corecredit.idlery.com, elemora.idlery.com and karnwold.com, have their own terms where they need them, and those terms govern your use of them. The legal page links to the ones published today.

2. Using the site

You may browse the site, read and share its pages, and link to them, for any lawful purpose. You do not need an account, and the site does not sell anything.

3. Information on the site

The site describes Idlery and its projects. Many of them are in development or experimental, and what they do, how they look and whether they are released can change. Descriptions, images and footage show the projects as they were when captured.

Content on the site, including anything about engineering, science, simulations, finance or safety, is general information. It is not professional, engineering, legal, financial, medical or safety advice, and you should not rely on it as such. Where a project has its own documentation or terms, those take precedence over a summary here.

4. Intellectual property

The site’s text, images, footage, design and code, and the names and logos of Idlery and its projects, belong to Idlery Services LLC or are used with permission. Apart from the uses allowed in section 2 and anything the law allows, such as quoting a short passage with credit, you may not copy, modify, republish or sell them without our written permission.

Other companies’ names and marks that appear on the site belong to their owners. The fonts the site uses are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, and their licence files are published with them.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not use the site in a way that is unlawful or harms others, and in particular do not:

• try to gain unauthorized access to the site, its hosting or any system connected to it;
• interfere with the site’s operation, for example by overloading it or introducing malicious code;
• scrape or copy the site in bulk in a way that burdens it, or reuse its content in breach of section 4;
• present yourself as Idlery, or suggest that Idlery endorses you, when it does not.

6. Other websites

The site links to websites run by us and by others, such as the App Store. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of sites we do not run, and a link is not an endorsement of them. Your use of another site is governed by that site’s terms.

7. Availability and changes to the site

We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time, and we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors. Some addresses the site links to may not be live yet.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Idlery Services LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or any information on it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded or liability to be limited, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies.
