About

An independent technology studio.

Idlery Services LLC designs and builds its own technology, and follows an idea as far as it needs to go to work properly.

What we do

Ideas, built until they run.

Idlery is where technical ideas get built rather than only described. A project might begin with a question about how something is made or how it flies, a problem someone has at work, or a sensor that seems worth testing. It becomes whatever form answers it best.

So far that has crossed software, simulation, interactive systems and small experiments with sensors and interfaces. The next project may be hardware, manufacturing or something else again. The studio is organised around the work, not around one kind of product.

Blake Kimble’s own engineering and design projects are collected in the portfolio.

How we work

  • 01

    Working, not described

A project is real when it runs: a simulator you can open, a product you can use, an experiment you can repeat.

  • 02

    Measured, not claimed

Numbers come from a model, a test or a source that can be named. Where something is illustrative or unvalidated, it says so.

  • 03

    Plain about limits

No account where one is not needed, no tracking for its own sake, and no promise a project cannot keep.
